Spring Clean Up Day is Saturday, April 5, 2025 with curbside pickup beginning at 6:00 am

Acceptable Items:  Large household items (sofas, dressers, tables, chairs, bathtubs, toilets, sinks, carpet, grills, etc.).  All loose materials must be contained in bags, trash containers or boxes that can be safely loaded by one person.  Bagged material is limited to 25-lbs per bag, bags must be tied so they can be lifted from the top.  Sharp objects such as broken glass must be enclosed in puncture proof containers.  Unacceptable Items: Asbestos, Batteries (Includes: auto, flashlight, rechargeable, etc.), Chemical Products (Includes: herbicides, pesticides), Medical Waste and Sharps (Needles), Fluorescent Tubes and Light Bulbs, Hazardous, Industrial, Infectious Waste, Any Liquid Waste including Paints, Thinners, Removers, Oils, Oil Rags, Radioactive Materials Naturally Occurring (NORM), Tires, Yard Waste. 

Appliance Dropoff:  Schafer’s Iron & Metal will be placing two dumpsters by City Shop – one for appliances and one for metal, tin, & wire from April 4th – April 7th.  Residents may drop off their appliances/metals in the dumpsters. 

No Television or Electronics Pickup:  If you have any of these items to dispose, you will need to pay in advance ($20 per item) at City Hall and Kluesner Sanitation will pick up on regular trash pickup day at your residence.

No Goodwill Mobile Donation Center available this year. You can donate items to Grace United Methodist Church Garage sale which will be held April 24-26.
